Strengths:
Highly flexible tool most suitable for community grassroots efforts at collecting information in a distributed fashion (from the community). Highly configurable, extensible and modifiable at low costs (due to LAMP architecture). Free and open source requiring no licensing fees.

User Input Requirements:
Accepts web-based input via UI for as many registered users as desired.

Significant technical expertise currently required (January 2006)
Data Input Requirements:
Full import capability both web-based, via API, and directly to the MySQL back-end database.
Equipment Needs:
Hosted server. $10/mo shared server is a possibility.
Limitations:
Requires technical knowledge to use. General solution that has not been extended to meet sepecific land use needs.
Staff Requirements:
Variable. A single system administrator should be formally trained.
