Activities
The Center for Digital Storytelling (CDS) is rooted in the art of personal storytelling: “Storytelling and listening not only helps the teller in the telling, it helps the listener in the hearing, even across great distances of space and time.”5 The Center collaborates with a wide range of community, educational, civic, arts, health/social services, and business organizations to design and offer Digital Storytelling Workshops focused on specific themes or groups. It also works with partners to determine methods for participant recruitment and preparation; developing workshop agendas, and determining quantity and format of final materials.
Relevant Projects
CDS partners have implemented a number of projects for organizations working to capture the stories of their constituencies, ranging from campaigns within a given time frame to ongoing and self-sustaining programs.
