Relevant Methodologies

The use of information technology--the Internet in particular--as providing a powerful and nearly limitless set of tools which may be brought to bear on behalf of the public good. The promotion of human dialog, personal interconnectedness, cultural understanding, cultivation of civil society, general life-long curiosity and the greater enjoyment of life are all at the heart of our mission and thus, the projects and educational initiatives we devise and support. The production of open-source software is one important way of helping to network and improve access to technology for all people.
