- Burnsville, Minnesota: The community's Partnerships for Tomorrow engaged every major leadership group and citizens in such a burst of community energy that 10 years of goals were achieved in a little over three years.
- Greater Willmar Area, Minnesota: A partnership of cities, the county, school districts, business and civic leaders, and engaged citizens created a Vision and Strategic Plan for a whole region.
