User Input Requirements:
This is very dependant on your project. A DEM is required for the 3D component of the software, this can be draped with an Ortho photo(Resolution dependant on your requirements)
Please feel free to call and talk with us about your specific projects

Equipment Needs:
CommunityViz requires ArcView GIS software; it plugs into ArcView GIS as an extension, extending its tools and capabilities. Since CommunityViz can be computer resource consumptive, a minimum hardware configuration is necessary. A note to ArcView 3.3 users: ESRI does not fully support the use of 3.3 with Windows XP® Home and Professional. For more information from ESRI on the compatibility of ArcView 3.3 with XP, click here. CommunityViz (all three modules)The ArcView software that CommunityViz needs is:ArcView 3.2 or ArcView 3.3 (Please note that ESRI does not fully support version 3.3 with Microsoft XP Home and Professional) Spatial Analyst 1.1 (version 2.0 is recommended because it includes ModelBuilder) ArcView\'s 3D Analyst is helpful for customizing the elevation terrain that SiteBuilder 3D uses. Spatial Analyst by itself, however, is perfectly capable of producing the required elevation data for the 3D environment. To use all three componentes of CommunityViz, a user needs at least the following hardware configuration:500MHz Intel®-compatible, Pentium III CPU (at least a 1GHz processor is highly recommended for SiteBuilder) 256 MB RAM 32MB graphics card that supports OpenGL (an AGP socket is preferred over the PCI socket) 400MB free disk space for installation 2GB free disk space for data 3-button mouse Windows NT® 4.0 (with Service Pack 6 or higher) or Windows® 2000 Scenario Constructor and Policy Simulator modulesTo use only the Scenario Constructor™ and Policy Simulator™ components requires the following configuration:ArcView 3.2 or ArcView 3.3 (Please note that ESRI does not fully support version 3.3 with Microsoft XP Home and Professional) Spatial Analyst 1.1 (version 2.0 is recommended because it includes ModelBuilder) 500MHz Intel-compatible, Pentium III CPU 128MB RAM 2GB free disk space for data Windows NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 6 or higher) or Windows 2000 Scenario Constructor onlyThis installation is only possible with the stand-alone version of Scenario Constructor. To use Scenario Constructor, the configuration should be:ArcView 3.2 or ArcView 3.3 (Please note that ESRI does not fully support version 3.3 with Microsoft XP Home and Professional) 133MHz Intel-compatible CPU 24MB RAM Windows NT 4.0 (with Service Pack 4 or higher) or Windows 2000 Please note that the configuration for Scenario Constructor is largely drawn from the system requirements for ArcView 3.x as listed on ESRI.com. The software will function with this hardware but it will not do so very quickly. For faster performance, upgrade the processor and RAM.
